Screwpop Cigar Punch 2.0 – Review

I reviewed the original Screwpop punch and really liked the tool, so naturally I was pleased when contacted about reviewing the latest one.  This tool has both a bottle cap opener for your beer AND a punch cutter for your cigar.  It clips onto anything you’d like (I.E. zippers, belt loops, etc.) and weighs next to nothing despite its all metal construction.  Super hand tool to have on hand.
Here’s what Screwpop says about it:

“Screwpop™ Cigar Punch 2.0 is the connoisseurs ideal smoking tool.

It opens tasty micro-brews to quench the most intelligent of palettes and cuts cigars with ease.

The Cigar Punch 2.0 is compact, lightweight and clips to almost anything — making it the most portable cigar cutter ever conceived on the market.

This easy-to-hold barrel design makes using our Cigar Punch 2.0 a cinch. Its stainless steel insert cuts effortlessly through leathery tobaccos for an enjoyable smooth smoke.

Your friends will be envious of this tool!”

There is one main improvement over the original: the punch tended to fill with cigar caps over time.  The 2.0 pushes out the cap material when you screw it back on!  The only other difference I noted was the matte black anodize finish vs. the gloss clear anodize on the original and new fancy packaging.  If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
If you need another reason to get one of these handy tools, how about the price of $14.95.  If you’d like to buy one, visit Screwpop’s webpage here: Screwpop
