Rocky Patel Connecticut Toro
One of the 1,000 Rocky Patel cigars out there.
It has a really nice looking Connecticut wrapper with only small veins. The construction is solid with no obvious flaws, like all of the Rocky Patels I’ve had.
Once cut, the draw is nice and smooth and stayed that way throughout the smoke.
I lit it up and was pleased with the smooth taste and large volume of smoke.
The flavors were predominately nutty and creamy with hints of cedar and a very light pepper finish.
The RP Connecticut was a good mild bodied cigar, but it lacked a little in complexity. It burned pretty evenly and did not present any surprises. For my money I’d take the Perdomo Slow Aged over this cigar, but it is a close second.
