Padilla Signature 1932 – Cigar Review

Padilla Signature 1932 Robusto

This is one fine looking smoke.  Gotta love that band!

The construction was solid and after cutting it I was happy to find that the draw was comfortably loose.  The wrapper was also very impressive with no large veins.

It smelled mostly of pepper with some cedar and possibly a bit of citrus and/or mint.

Once lit everything continued to be good.  Great draw with an even burn.  The ash was pitch black, very interesting.

The overall flavor profile was not complex, but was just enough to keep me guessing.  The taste was primarily pepper initially and that subsided to leave a buttery almond flavor with a bit of sweet from the wrapper.

Overall this was not a very complex cigar as far as taste goes, but the pleasant taste combined with excellent construction was enough to make me want more.  The price is fairly high on these, but when you find a deal on them make sure to give them a shot.
