Padilla Cazadores – Cigar Review

Padilla Cazadores Torpedo Review

The Cazadores has a very dark brown oily wrapper with some medium sized veins.

It is extremely firm with just a little give when squeezed.  I cut the cigar and it has a very nice draw.

It has a very strong barnyard like smell – it smells like slightly floral pungent hay.  It has an excellent overall appearance and smells good, I am impressed so far.

The first third has a cedary and toasty flavor followed by a sweet and spicy caramel finish.  It has excellent tasting medium bodied smoke.  The burn is very even and the ash is light gray, almost  white.

The first ash held on for a very long time.  The second third’s flavors were entirely different from the third.  It tasted like buttery almonds with a bit of cocoa and a sweet peppery finish.

The final third increased to medium/full body and the burn remained perfectly even.  The final third was full of buttery pepper flavor with some spicy cedar.  Another welcome change in flavor.

Overall, this was a very complex and fun cigar!  It is superbly constructed and remained interesting the entire time!  The price is fair and it is not overly strong.  I think most will find this to be a very good cigar.  It is my new favorite Padilla!
