Man of War Robusto
I had heard a lot of good things about this smoke.
The construction and wrapper looked and felt fantastic, but the pre-light draw was slightly difficult.
Nice peppery and coffee smell.
The burn started off very even with a great range of full flavors from dark coffee, wood, and pepper.
Unfortunately the burn got terribly off track about halfway through. I corrected it, but it kept wanting to burn quicker on one side.
The flavors also took a turn for the worse. Bitter pepper became the dominating taste from the halfway point on. I let the cigar relax for the temperature to decrease, but the flavor remained the same.
Not my favorite cigar, especially at this price point. Beware buying these in quantity until you try one for yourself.

I think you should try some more of these if you get the chance. I got a sampler of 10 and one or two had some issues but the others were GREAT! Also you should get your hands on a Diesel. This is A.J.’s new kick “A” blend. I love it.
Yeah, I’ve heard a lot about the diesels over on CI’s daily banter. I plan to check them out soon. I haven’t given up on the Man O Wars yet… a LOT of people like them, maybe I just got a bad stick?
