This is a really good looking cigar. I’ve smoked a few of these and so far I’ve had near perfect burns. Ash gets a little flakey though so you want to be careful what you’re holding the cigar over. I get some sweetness, spice and cocoa that I really enjoy. I find the strength to be upper medium. I plan on buying more and would recommend others to try this one.

Trying to figure out from your review why this was only rated a 38 out of 50? Going by your rating system I would say this was a turd? On 100 point scale, doubling 38 to get a 76 out of a 100 puts this at an “unsmokable”. If I went by your review and hadn’t seen the number given I would say I’d have to smoke this, but the number completely contradicts the written??? Confused!

Hello Scott. Thanks for the question. The couple of construction issues and lackluster flavor profile with some bitterness hurt this cigar as far as the number rating goes.
It is important to note that my rating system is in no way translatable to the 100 point CA rating system. Does that help?

I understand your rating isn’t “conventional”; Having said that, in relation to your other reviews, the numbers equate to an “unsmokable” cigar. Most of the reviews on this cigar give it a high rating and your reviews on other cigars come close to aligning with them but differ greatly on this one. Unlike most cigar reviewing sites I agree with you on all but a few cigars reviewed that I have smoked. Ty for a clearing that up!

On a side note, I think your site would be greatly improved if a person was notified of comments or responses to articles/reviews?

    Best Regards,

    Scott
