I tried one of the original Maxx cigars and found it to be very spicy and full bodied. At the time I wasn’t smoking many strong cigars so I found it to be very overpowering. It is very interesting that the Brazil is in the mild/medium range. Sounds like something I would really like to try. Very nice review!

VERY nice. Def one to add to the humi (in fact, I ‘ve been meaning to for some time).

    Darren and DJ,
Yeah I would recommend grabbing a few of these if you can. They are kind of hard to find and are supposedly a “limited run”.

You’re not kidding these are hard to find. This sounds like a cigar I would really like and I can only find them in a mixed cigar 5 pack at one online retailer. Since I have to buy 4 other cigars to try this one, is it worth the purchase and if you acquired your sample the same way, how are the other 3 cigars? I know you’ve already reviewed the Maxx “The Fix” that’s included in the 5 pack.

  5. Hard to find by them self. wish someone would sell them in a box. My first one was great and hope they come in a box with a good selling price

Sorry for the uber late reply Terry, I have not tried the other Maxx’s in the sampler yet, but they are definitely on the “to smoke” list.

Francisco, these should really be sold in 5/10/20 packs. I do not know why they are not. I would definitely purchase some if they did.

    Where did you get them.

I can only find them on Cigarsinternational who will not post to Australia.

I have tried the Maxx Ego (9 1/4 x 50!!) and to be honest I have enjoyed that much more than some Cubans (and at 89 a box v the 60-80 dollars a stick I paid for the Cuban H Upmann and HdM!!!) . Had another last night, nice even draw (I use a punch) and delightfully bold start to finish… I had less than an inch left as I sucked the life out of it!!

Wabt to try AB… never had a problem with construction (unlike a number of oh so yummie gurhka’s which had a tendencies to split!)
