CI Anniversary Epicure Box Pressed Toro Review
I had mixed feelings going into this one. I am always weary of house brand cigars. I am very glad I decided to give this one a shot.
The Habano wrapper is really nice looking and the construction also feels very good all the way up and down.
It smelled very woody and chocolaty.
The draw was perfect both before and after lighting it.
Once I lit it up I was very happy with the medium body smoke and fairly complex flavor profile. I tasted coffee and wood with a light peppery finish and light hints of chocolate here and there.
Unfortunately it began to tunnel at the halfway point and there was no fixing it. It also became a little bitter in the last third.
Overall I am very pleased with this inexpensive smoke. Pleasant taste at a very affordable price. Definitely worth trying!

Excellent post, I just tried a Partagas during the end of the week….reasonably excellent; I wouldn’t distinguish if I’d list it in my top 10 though. Cheers for spending the energy to post this!
